Creator share
Program version 2026-08-17.share-1 · store credit only · not live on checkout yet
Plain version
If someone else buys a garment printed with your art, and we still have leftover profit after print, ship, fees, tax, and FOMO’s locked reserve, you can earn store credit from that leftover. If there is no leftover, you earn nothing. We do not pay for likes, uploads, or follows. We do not pay you for buying your own shirt. This is not a wage and not a promise of income.
When a share can exist
- A real customer paid
- The garment shipped
- 45 days passed with no refund or chargeback
- The design is yours, signed in with X, and not infringing
- The buyer is not you (same X account, same card, same ship-to, or same household = $0)
- After costs, FOMO still has leftover above the reserve
Formula, in cents:
max(0, (paid − print − ship − fees − tax − reserve) × creator_share)
Reserve is the larger of $8 or 25% of what the customer paid. Creator share is 50% of whatever is left after that reserve. FOMO always keeps the reserve on a rewarded order. Coupons that wipe the leftover mean $0 for the creator — we will not pay out of pocket.
What you get
Store credit on this site only. Not cash. Not transferable. Expires in 365 days. Cannot be used in a way that would make the next order unprofitable for FOMO. First real payouts get a human look. We may pause or end the program at any time. Pending credit is not a debt we owe if the program ends or an order reverses.
What never earns
- Views, likes, follows, uploads, homepage pins, or “engagement”
- Your own purchase of your own art
- Infringing art (and we can claw back credit)
- Orders that refund, charge back, or never ship
Points vs credit
Points are a spotlight score on your desk: 1 per unique signed-in like from someone else, 25 per kept third-party sale. They are not cash and do not convert to credit. A pin on the homepage does not add points. Store credit is only leftover profit after a real sale, computed in one place, after ship and the 45-day hold.
